Website Redesign Services in India (2026)
A redesign is a business change wearing a design brief. The pages that earn traffic, the forms that generate enquiries and the URLs that rank are all at risk if the project is run as a visual refresh. The design is the visible part; the migration plan is the valuable one.

The most common redesign failure is not an ugly result. It is a beautiful site that lost the pages which brought customers, because the old URLs were replaced without redirects and the content that ranked was rewritten as marketing copy.
Is it a redesign, a tune-up or a rebuild?
A tune-up fixes speed, navigation and a few templates while keeping the platform. A redesign replaces the design system and templates. A rebuild changes the platform as well.
Each has a different risk profile. Doing all three at once makes it impossible to tell which change caused a traffic drop, which is why we usually separate them.
Before design, list the top pages by organic traffic, the queries they rank for, the pages that generate enquiries, and the internal links that pass authority. That list becomes the protection list for the whole project.
Analytics and search console answer most of it. Where they are missing, we start by setting them up, because a redesign without baseline data cannot be evaluated afterwards.
Every existing URL needs a decision: keep, redirect, or remove. Redirects are 301, mapped one to one where possible, and reviewed for chains and loops.
Pagination, filtered category pages, old blog paths, campaign landing pages and the www variant all need to be in the map. The pages clients forget are usually the ones with the most links.
Rewriting every page during a redesign removes the text that was ranking. Keep the substance and improve the structure; rewrite only where the page genuinely needs it, and do that as a separate phase.
Product descriptions, service pages and FAQs are the usual casualties. They are also the pages that earn.
Agree the type scale, spacing, colours, buttons, forms and card patterns once, then build templates from them. A redesign that starts with the home page produces a home page and four inconsistent templates.
The system also makes accessibility and performance decisions once rather than per page.
Hero videos, carousels and web fonts are chosen in design and paid for in performance. Setting a page-weight budget before the visual work prevents an argument after it.
Contrast, focus states, form labels and keyboard order are cheaper to design than to retrofit.
The new site is built and reviewed on a staging domain, with no indexing. Redirects are configured there and tested against the URL map before launch, not after.
Most dips in the first fortnight are reindexing rather than loss. Check that old URLs redirect, that the new pages are indexed, and that internal links point at the new structure. Fix those before rewriting anything else.
Ninety days after launch, compare organic entrances, enquiry rate, mobile speed and the pages that earn. A redesign that looks better and converts worse is a failed project, however good the portfolio image.
Send the current URL list, analytics and search console access, the pages that generate enquiries, and any brand assets that must be used. The URL list is the single most useful input.

What a redesign costs
Redesigns start at Rs 14,999 for a brochure site with a new design system, up to ten templates, content migration and a redirect map. Larger sites, shops and custom applications are quoted after the URL and template inventory.
Copywriting, photography and paid themes are separate. Hosting changes, if needed, are quoted as a migration.
What the redesign scope includes
- Baseline audit of traffic, queries and converting pages
- Design system and up to ten templates
- Content migration with the ranking pages protected
- Full URL map with 301s and a broken-link check
- Performance and accessibility checks before launch
- Launch checklist and a ninety-day comparison
Before design starts
Confirm who approves the design, whether the platform is changing, and which pages must keep their URLs. A platform change belongs in a separate phase, not in the same launch.

Send the URL list and the pages that earn
Write to [email protected] with the current site, the pages that generate enquiries and whether the platform is changing, or send the same on WhatsApp.
If a redesign has already launched and traffic dropped, call 7840002466 with the old URL list. Redirect gaps are usually recoverable within weeks if they are found early.
