For most Indian small and medium businesses, Windows is the correct answer, and not by a small margin. The deciding factor is not preference or build quality. It is that the software your accounts, tax and operations staff depend on is largely built for Windows.
The Compatibility Question Settles It

Standardise the fleet on Windows, and use a hybrid only where a role forces it. If two designers need MacBooks, buy two MacBooks. Do not let a preference become a mixed fleet of thirty.
If your team is genuinely cross-platform and nobody runs Windows-only software, Mac becomes a reasonable choice. Test that assumption with your three most demanding users for two weeks before you commit a budget. Once the platform is settled, match the remaining specification to each workload.
