Static Website Hosting in India (2026)
A marketing site, a documentation portal or a React front end that talks to an API elsewhere does not need a web server. Files on object storage behind a CDN are faster, cheaper and far harder to break, and there is no application runtime to patch on a Sunday.

Static Website Hosting Company
One connected partner for planning, implementation, support, and ongoing optimization around this service area.
Static hosting moves the work from a server to a delivery network. The pages are pre-built files, so there is nothing to execute per request, nothing to patch, and very little to go wrong. What still goes wrong is configuration: permissions, cache headers, certificates and redirects.
What "static" actually means in practice
A static site is a set of files built ahead of time: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, images and fonts. When a visitor arrives, the CDN returns a file. There is no PHP process, no application server and no database call on the request path.
That single property removes a whole category of failure. It also removes capabilities, which is why the decision needs an honest look at forms, search and personalisation before anyone celebrates the speed score.
The most common failure is a bucket policy that allows public reads instead of allowing only the CDN, or the reverse: the CDN is configured but the bucket refuses it. The second most common is an origin path that points at the bucket root while the files sit in a folder.
A 404 on a single-page application is a routing problem rather than a hosting one: the CDN must return the index file for unknown paths while still returning a real 404 for missing assets. Both behaviours can coexist, but only if they are configured deliberately.
Hashed assets can be cached for a year. The HTML entry point cannot, or visitors keep the old build after a release. The usual failure is the opposite: everything cached for five minutes, so every visit pays for a round trip to the origin.
We set cache policy by file type, keep the HTML short-lived, and use versioned filenames so a new deploy never depends on an invalidation request.
A static site should deploy from a repository, not from a drag-and-drop upload. Each push builds the site, uploads the changed files, and publishes atomically; a bad release is rolled back by republishing the previous build.
Preview environments per branch are cheap here and genuinely useful, because a client can review a real URL before anything reaches production.
Contact forms need an endpoint: a small function, a form service, or an API you already run. Site search needs an index built at deploy time or a hosted search service. Comments and gated content need a backend, full stop.
When a site needs three of those, a CMS-backed build or a small application is the better answer. Static hosting is a delivery choice, not a religion.
Redirects live in the CDN or in a generated configuration file, not in a server rule. Old URLs need explicit mapping, trailing slashes must be consistent, and the canonical host must be one name rather than four.
Sitemaps and structured data are generated at build time, which is an advantage: they cannot drift from the pages they describe.
The setup is a one-time engagement from Rs 9,999. After that the provider charges for storage, requests and data transfer, and those are usage-based, so we do not quote them as a fixed figure.
What drives them: how many files a page requests, how large the images are, how much traffic arrives, and how often the cache is bypassed. A well-built site costs very little to serve; a site shipping uncompressed images can cost more than a small VPS.
Because there is no application to exploit, the security work moves to headers and edge rules: content security policy, strict transport security, frame protection, and a WAF in front of the distribution if the site is a target.
The bucket stays private, credentials stay in the pipeline, and no long-lived keys sit in a browser bundle.
If editors need to publish without a developer, if the site takes payments, if content is personalised per visitor, or if the team cannot maintain a build pipeline, a managed CMS or a small application will cause less friction.
We say that early, because converting a static site back into a dynamic one is a rebuild rather than a setting.
Send the framework the site is built with, the repository, the domain and DNS provider, a list of old URLs that must keep working, and any form or search requirement. The URL list is the part clients forget and the part search engines notice.

What a static hosting setup costs
The engagement starts at Rs 9,999 for one domain: bucket, CDN, DNS, certificate, redirects, cache rules and a repository-based deploy. Provider usage is billed at cost and stays in your account.
We do not quote provider rates, because they vary by region and change over time. What we control is the architecture that keeps usage low: compressed images, hashed assets, sane cache policy and no unnecessary requests.
What the static setup includes
- Private origin bucket with a CDN-only access policy
- Cache policy by file type, with a short-lived HTML entry point
- Certificate issued and renewed automatically
- 301 map for old URLs and a consistent canonical host
- Build pipeline with preview and one-step rollback
- Sitemap and structured data generated at build time
Before you move a site to static hosting
Confirm whether editors publish content themselves, whether any page is personalised, and whether forms or search exist. If two of those are true, the honest recommendation is a CMS-backed build rather than a static one.

Guides for the pieces that break
When a static setup misbehaves, these explain the cause rather than the symptom: S3 static site 403 and 404 errors, and CloudFront serving a stale file after deploy.
Send the repository and the old URL list
Write to [email protected] with the framework, the repository, the DNS provider and the URLs that must keep working, or send the same on WhatsApp. The URL list decides half the schedule.
