Shopify ERP Integration in Ghaziabad

A Ghaziabad manufacturer using Shopify for dealer orders needs more than a product sync. The storefront has to respect dealer pricing, credit limits, dispatch rules and the ERP invoice before an order is accepted.

Shopify ERP Integration in Ghaziabad

Ghaziabad manufacturers often run a Shopify B2B store beside an ERP that already holds dealer ledgers, credit limits and stock. The integration has to decide which system controls the dealer, the price and the order release.

The dealer order that passed the credit limit

One Ghaziabad manufacturer opened a Shopify B2B store before the ERP credit check was connected. A dealer with an overdue ledger placed an order, paid online and expected dispatch.

The ERP held the credit limit, but the storefront did not ask. The order had to be held manually, and the dealer saw a confirmation before the business had approved it.

The fix was a pre-order credit check against the ERP and a clear status on the storefront. The storefront no longer promises dispatch until the ERP releases the order.

01
Dealer master: accounts, GSTIN, credit limits and price lists mapped before the store opens.
02
Opening stock: a count and freeze so the store and ERP agree.
03
Test orders: cash, credit, credit hold, partial dispatch and return.
04
Parallel run: one week of dealer orders with daily reconciliation.
05
Handover: credit rules, release process, error queue and escalation.
Who owns the dealer, price and stock

The ERP should own the dealer account, credit limit, ledger and dispatch release. Shopify owns the storefront experience and the cart. Price can be a dealer-specific price list in the ERP, sent to Shopify, or a Shopify price list validated against the ERP.

Stock should stay in the ERP. The storefront can show availability, but the reservation and release must follow the ERP rule, especially when a dealer orders a carton quantity rather than a single unit.

GSTIN, place of supply and dealer category need to match the ERP customer master. A mismatch creates an invoice correction after dispatch.

The order flow for a dealer

A dealer logs in, sees the dealer price, places an order and pays or chooses credit. The integration checks the credit limit, creates a sales order in the ERP and returns a status to Shopify.

If credit is on hold, the order stays pending and the dealer sees a message. If the ERP releases it, the warehouse dispatches, the invoice posts and the tracking number returns to Shopify.

Partial dispatch is normal in manufacturing. The ERP must support multiple dispatches and the storefront must show what has shipped.

Returns and credit notes

A dealer return is not a consumer refund. It usually creates a credit note against the invoice, and the stock may return to a specific warehouse or quarantine location.

The integration should post the credit note and the stock movement together, then update the storefront order status. A refund in Shopify without the ERP credit note leaves the ledger wrong.

The daily reconciliation compares dealer orders, ERP invoices and credit notes, with a separate line for credit holds.

What the Ghaziabad integration does not cover

Theme work, new ERP modules, marketplace integrations and dealer onboarding are separate. Subscription fees are billed by Shopify and the ERP provider.
