Laptop Rental Services

How these faults present

• Staff are working on shared machines: No suitable device for the period A rental fills the gap without a purchase.
• A project needs more machines than the office has: Temporary capacity is required Short term rental covers the project.
• Cover is needed during a repair: A role cannot wait for the repair A rental bridges the period.
• A new starter has nothing on day one: Hardware ordering takes time An existing rental can be in use sooner.

Where this differs by device

• Short and long term rentals are different products, with a higher monthly figure on the shorter term.
• Rental stock is not new, so specification, warranty and condition are confirmed rather than assumed.

Where engagements like this go wrong

• Renting for longer than needed because extending was assumed to be automatic.
• Renting below the specification the work needs.
• Leaving the return date and deposit terms unwritten.

What changes the cost

• Rental period, since short and long term figures differ.
• Specification, since more memory or storage costs more.
• Whether delivery, setup and collection are included.
