Domain & Business Email Setup in India (2026)
Domain and email work is small, fiddly and disproportionately damaging when it is wrong. A missing MX record stops enquiries; a missing SPF or DKIM record sends invoices to spam; a nameserver change without a plan takes the website down with the mail.

Most domain problems are ordering problems. Records are changed before the destination exists, mail is moved after the nameservers, and the certificate is issued for the wrong hostname. Doing the same steps in a different order makes the whole thing uneventful.
What the setup covers
Four layers that have to agree: the registrar holding the domain, the DNS zone that answers queries, the mail service that receives and sends, and the website that answers on the same name.
Change one without the others and something breaks quietly. Mail is usually the first casualty because nobody tests it until a customer says the invoice never arrived.
Registrations and transfers are cheap; losing control of the domain is not. The account should be in the business's name, with a renewal date recorded and auto-renew either on or deliberately monitored.
A transfer between registrars usually needs an authorisation code and can be locked for sixty days after a previous change. That lock is worth knowing before a launch, not during it.
Pointing the domain at a hosting provider's nameservers hands DNS control to that provider. Keeping DNS where it is and changing individual records keeps control local, which matters when mail, the site and a booking tool all live in different places.
For most businesses running mail and a site on different services, keeping DNS independent is the calmer arrangement.
Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 and host-provided mailboxes all work; the difference is administration, storage and how well they behave with the rest of the stack. Decide the provider first, because the MX records depend on it.
Mailboxes are created before the MX change, so there is a moment when the account exists and no mail is being delivered to it yet.
SPF lists the servers allowed to send for the domain. DKIM signs messages so receivers can verify they were not altered. DMARC tells the receiver what to do when either check fails, and sends reports.
All three are DNS records, and all three are commonly missing after a migration. A business sending invoices from an unauthenticated domain is a business whose invoices land in spam, and the fix is records rather than a new provider.
Because the old zone had records the new one does not: MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, autodiscover, and sometimes verification records for other services like a CRM or a payment gateway.
Before changing nameservers we export the whole zone, copy it, and compare the two lists rather than trusting memory.
A certificate must cover the exact hostname users type, including the www variant if it resolves. Mixed-content warnings after setup usually come from images or scripts referenced with an old absolute URL.
Redirects decide which hostname is canonical: one name serves the site, the other redirects to it. Both directions working is the difference between a tidy setup and duplicate pages in search.
Most enquiries start the same way: a domain bought at a registrar, hosting bought somewhere else, mail at a third provider, and no clear idea which account controls what.
We map the three accounts, keep the registrar where it is, and configure DNS to point the website and mail at their respective services. There is no need to move the domain to make that work, and no affiliation with either provider is implied.
Send the domain, where it is registered, where the site is hosted, which mail provider you want, and the number of mailboxes. If mail is already broken, send one failed delivery header, because it names the record that is wrong.

What domain and email setup costs
Setup starts at Rs 2,499 for one domain with DNS, up to five mailboxes, SPF, DKIM, DMARC and the SSL check. Additional domains, larger mailbox counts and deliverability investigations are quoted separately.
Domain renewals, mailbox subscriptions and certificates are billed by their providers. We do not resell them and do not mark them up.
What the domain and email scope includes
- Account and DNS audit, with the old zone exported
- Mailbox creation and a two-way delivery test
- SPF, DKIM and DMARC records published and verified
- Website records, www redirect and certificate check
- Written handover of who controls each account
Before the switch
Confirm who owns the registrar login, which mailboxes are needed, and whether any third-party service verifies the domain. The last one is the record everyone forgets.

Send the domain and who controls it
Write to [email protected] with the domain, the registrar, where the site is hosted and which mailboxes you need, or send the same on WhatsApp.
If mail has already stopped, call 7840002466 with one bounced message. The delivery header usually names the record that is wrong.
