Product Overview
A repeatable erasure record from boot to certificate

CoreInspect Wipe turns a workshop erasure into a documented job: one licence claim, one selected drive, one verified method and one certificate that the buyer or auditor can check.

Computer and Mobile Coverage

Laptops, desktops and PCs boot from USB or ISO into WinPE. Mobile and tablet jobs follow the CoreInspect device workflow under the same account and certificate process.

Network-First Sign-In

Ethernet is built into the image. The optional Wi-Fi build adds WPA2/WPA3-Personal and 802.1X profiles, and the agent cannot sign in until the CoreInspect API is reachable.

Drive Inventory

The agent lists the internal drives, excludes the boot media and waits for the operator to choose the target. No serial number is typed on the device.

Three Erase Methods

Purge runs a verified three-pass overwrite fallback while hardware sanitize remains lab-gated. Secure runs a DoD-style three-pass overwrite; Quick runs a single pass.

Read-Back Verification

After the write, the agent reads the drive back and records the pass count, storage identity and result before the job can be completed.

Signed Certificate

The server issues the certificate only after verification. It is downloaded from Wipe Jobs, carries a QR code and is signed with Ed25519.

Quick Summary

What CoreInspect Wipe does

CoreInspect Wipe boots a PC or laptop into WinPE, connects to the CoreInspect API, claims one wipe licence and erases the selected drive. It verifies the write, records the method and storage identity, then uploads the job so the portal can issue a signed certificate of erasure.

One Job per Device, One Certificate

Each computer or mobile device is priced at Rs 50 per device and claims one licence, so a quote does not depend on how many drives sit inside the machine.

No Operating System on the Target

The agent runs in WinPE before Windows starts, so a locked, unbootable or unmanaged laptop can still be erased without reinstalling an OS first.

Portal Records Your Team Can Defend

Wipe Jobs holds the certificate, evidence and CSV export. A buyer or auditor can scan the QR code and verify the signed record without calling the workshop.

An Erasure Record That Travels with the Device

The certificate, QR verification and CSV export stay in the portal after the job closes, so a resale listing, lease return or client audit can use the same evidence.

Frequently Asked Questions
CoreInspect Wipe is a bootable WinPE tool for certified PC and laptop erasure. It signs in to the CoreInspect API, claims one wipe licence, erases the selected drive, verifies the write and uploads the job for a certificate.
Purge, Secure and Quick. Secure runs a DoD-style three-pass overwrite, Quick runs a single pass, and Purge currently runs a verified three-pass fallback while hardware sanitize remains lab-gated.
Not yet. Those hardware commands need controller-by-controller validation before release. When Purge is selected, the job records that the fallback ran and sets hardware_sanitize to false.
No. The target boots from the Wipe USB or ISO into WinPE. Nothing is installed on the machine being erased, and the boot media is excluded from the drive list.
CoreInspect Wipe is priced at Rs 50 per device. Each device claims one licence before the erase starts; a failed or cancelled job releases the licence and refunds the wallet.
The device only shows a completion state and certificate ID. The certificate itself is stored in the CoreInspect portal under Wipe Jobs, where the team can download the HTML or PDF version.
It records the certificate ID, completion time, machine manufacturer, model and serial, storage model, serial, capacity and bus, erase method and standard, verification result, operator and company, plus a SHA-256 evidence digest and QR code.
No. The agent must reach the CoreInspect API before sign-in, licence claim and completion. Ethernet is built in, the optional Wi-Fi image supports common enterprise profiles, and captive portals are not supported.
Yes. The product line covers laptop, desktop and mobile erasure. Computer jobs use the bootable WinPE workflow, while mobile and tablet jobs follow the CoreInspect device workflow under the same account and certificate process.
