Cashfree Integration Cost

Cashfree Integration Cost in India (2026)

Cashfree is usually chosen for two reasons: competitive collection pricing and payouts in the same account. That second reason is also what changes the integration cost, because a payout flow needs balances, beneficiaries, approvals and a reconciliation trail that a plain checkout never touches.

Cashfree Integration Cost

Two Cashfree projects can look identical on a feature list and differ by a factor of three in effort. The difference is whether money only comes in, or also goes out to sellers, vendors or riders, because outgoing money brings balance checks, beneficiary verification and a support process for failed transfers.

What the base integration fee covers

A collection integration is the smallest version: an order created before the gateway call, a hosted checkout, verified return handling, a webhook endpoint and a refund path.

That is the Rs 4,999 starting scope, and it is the same shape as any gateway. Cashfree's SDK is not the expensive part; the failure handling is.

What moves the price
01
Payouts, beneficiary verification and approval workflows
02
Marketplace split settlements and a seller ledger
03
Multiple collection modes: checkout, payment links, virtual accounts
04
Subscriptions or mandates, where the business needs recurring collection
05
Reconciliation views for finance, and exports for accounting
06
Existing code that has to be adapted rather than replaced
Where Cashfree changes the work: payouts

The payout API moves money to bank accounts and UPI IDs. Before the first transfer, the integration has to handle beneficiary creation, name verification, transfer modes, balance checks and the status of each transfer as it moves through the provider.

A failed transfer is not a failed request. It can fail after acceptance, which means the application has to reconcile the final status rather than trust the immediate response.

Marketplace flows: split settlements and seller balances

For a marketplace, Cashfree can settle to sellers rather than to a single account. The integration then needs a seller ledger: what each seller earned, what was withheld, what was refunded and what was paid out.

That ledger is application work, not gateway configuration, and it is usually the largest single line in a marketplace build.

Webhook signature checks and idempotency

Every event needs a signature check before parsing, and an identity so a retry does not create a second order or a second payout. The receiving endpoint has to be safe to call twice.

We record the provider event identifier in the same transaction as the state change, which is the cheapest way to make retries harmless.

Reconciliation against payout reports

Collections reconcile against settlement files; payouts reconcile against transfer reports. Both need an import, a match, and a list of unmatched lines that somebody owns.

Without it, a support ticket about a missing payout becomes an afternoon of manual searching.

Timeline by scope

A collection-only integration takes one to two weeks including failure testing. Adding payouts takes two to three more. A marketplace with split settlement and a seller ledger runs four to six weeks, mostly because the ledger needs business rules that only the client can confirm.

What is excluded from our fee

Cashfree's transaction fees, settlement charges, GST and any onboarding or compliance cost are billed by Cashfree to your account. We do not resell them, and we do not quote their rates because they depend on your agreement and change over time.

What to send before a Cashfree quote

Send whether money only comes in or also goes out, who the payees are, how sellers or vendors are identified, and who reconciles settlements today. The payee model decides most of the scope.

What Cashfree integration costs, in short

Collections start at Rs 4,999. Payouts and marketplace settlement are separate modules, quoted after the payee model is agreed, because that is where the reconciliation work sits.

Cashfree's own fees are separate and billed to your account. We do not publish provider rates.

Before the Cashfree build starts

Confirm the payout model, whether approval is needed before a transfer, and which reports finance already uses. Those three answers decide whether this is a checkout project or a ledger project.

Send the payee model first

Write to [email protected] with the collection flow, whether payouts are needed and who the payees are, or send the same on WhatsApp.

If payouts are already live and failing, call 7840002466 with one failed transfer reference. The status trail usually shows whether the problem is the request, the beneficiary or the balance.

Frequently Asked Questions
A collection-only integration starts at Rs 4,999. Payouts, beneficiary verification and marketplace split settlement are quoted as separate modules, because they add a ledger and a reconciliation trail.
The collection work is comparable. The difference is payouts: if money also goes out to sellers or vendors, the scope grows beyond a checkout integration regardless of the provider.
Order creation, hosted checkout, verified returns, a signature-checked webhook endpoint, refunds and sandbox tests for decline and duplicate events. Payouts and settlements are additional.
Yes, and many businesses do. Starting with collections keeps the first release small; the payout module can be added once the seller or vendor model is settled.
One to two weeks for collections, two to three more for payouts, and four to six weeks for a marketplace with split settlement and a seller ledger.
We build the import and matching view, and surface unmatched lines for finance. The accounting treatment stays with your accountant, but the data they need is produced by the system.
It is one of the providers built for it, because collection and payouts sit in one account. The work is in the seller ledger and the approval rules, not in the gateway connection.
The application reconciles the final transfer status rather than trusting the immediate response, and the failed transfer appears in an operator view with its reason.
Whether money only comes in, who the payees are if it goes out, how sellers are identified, and who reconciles settlements today.
