An institution runs on three records: who is admitted, what they owe, and how they are progressing. When those live in three places, the office spends its day reconciling them. These education software solutions put admissions, fees and academics on one student record, then add transport, hostel and parent communication only when the first three are stable.
Ranges are Indian market estimates for 2026, exclusive of GST and third-party fees. A written scope converts them into a fixed quotation.
Written scope, fixed milestones, a working first release in the first phase and no per-user licence.
Three records decide whether an education build succeeds. The admission record holds enquiries, documents and seat allocation. The fee record holds heads, instalments, concessions and receipts. The academic record holds attendance, assessments and report cards. A system that keeps all three against one student ID can answer a parent's question in seconds; a system that keeps them apart creates the queue at the fee counter.
The supporting modules come later: transport routes, hostel allocation, library issue, inventory and staff payroll. Each one is useful, but none of them fixes a broken fee record. That is why a sensible first phase concentrates on admission, fee and the student master.
Each of the three pages linked below carries its own module table, so the comparison is on scope rather than on a generic feature list.
Start with the record that causes the most arguments. In most institutions that is the fee ledger: which head, which instalment, how much concession, and what is still outstanding. A first release that issues a correct receipt and a correct outstanding statement will be used every day, which is the only real test of adoption.
Admissions come next if the intake season is close, because enquiry follow-up and document collection are time-bound. Academics can follow a term later, once fee and admission data are clean enough for report cards to be generated without manual correction.
The largest driver is fee complexity, not student count. Tuition plus transport plus hostel plus exam fees, with sibling discounts, staff concessions, scholarships and instalment plans, produces far more logic than a single annual bill. Payment channels add a second layer: cash at the counter, UPI, card and net banking each need reconciliation against receipts.
Communication volume is the other quiet cost. SMS and WhatsApp are charged per message by the provider, so templates and approval flows matter. Multi-campus groups also need shared masters and consolidated reporting, which is a different data model from three separate installations.
3 builds, each with its own module table, price band, timeline and delivery notes.

They are custom systems that run an institution's core records: admissions, fees, attendance, assessments and communication. Instead of buying a product built for the average school, the institution gets software shaped around its own fee heads, academic calendar and reporting format.
A focused first release for one institute usually starts near Rs 1,00,000 and reaches Rs 6,00,000 for admission and fee modules. A full school build with academics, transport and a parent app ranges from Rs 6,00,000 to Rs 12,00,000, and a multi-campus group reaches about Rs 14,00,000.
A ready product is faster when the fee structure is simple and the board's reporting is standard. Custom software makes sense when concessions, instalments, transport billing or multi-campus reporting are handled outside the product today. The test is how many spreadsheets sit beside the current system.
Yes. A parent app or a responsive portal can show receipts, outstanding amounts, attendance, marks and notices. It is usually a later phase because it depends on clean student and fee data, and because message delivery must be tested before it reaches hundreds of families.
Current students, fee heads, opening dues and staff records are imported first, then historical receipts if they are needed for statements. Migration is priced as a separate line because it depends on the state of the old data, and the opening balances are reconciled and signed off before go-live.
Yes. Source code, database schema and deployment notes are handed over at completion, and student data stays in the institution's own cloud account. There is no per-student licence fee, and support after the warranty period is optional.
Open the closest build, read its price table and list the modules you need in the first release. Bring that list to a scoping call and we will convert it into a written scope with fixed milestones.
